On to another project in the remodeling saga….first step a bigger T.V. And a new reclyner for my office. This encourages Jim to visit me when I have work to do that’s easier to accomplish from my desk versus the iPad. So we had a fun day at Greenfront furniture …we always love that outting. We enjoyed lunch, bought a chair and a rug for the downstairs bathroom. The rug is fabulous and large enough that the bathroom is now for “Sitters Only”. Of course, the new chair and TV required a new lighter color of paint on the cabinets…who knew that Toy Tank Green paint would require three coats to make them Ivory Lace? So worth Jim’s effort…in my opinion.
My newest effort to drink more water…herb and veggie infused water…works great when I remember. Speaking of water…we’ve had a wee bit this winter. My mother’s MacGiver version of a toaster oven…she’s gone redneck. Then there’s my “coffee chat” idea…ugh! It’s was my brilliant copy of an idea for doing a round up blog post, except….I had to buy the perfect cup, then my nails needed painting …can’t stand seeing chipped nails in a blog photo…bad enough at home, why share? So, new cup, fresh paint…photo. Well, the other person’s photo looked better…she had a latte. So…I bought a milk steamer and milk, which we never have on hand…nails needed re-painting…and I never did write the post because I was exhausted.
My grand dog Par turned 4…my how time flies….a sweet baby on selection day …that sweetness won her a fabulous home…one of my pretties, and my Bindi girl
The weather has been all over the place this winter. Snow one day and flooding the nxt. A little blue hour in the evening and a pretty sunrise on Leap Day!
Oh…my new passion…Tarot!
Some special days with family and friends…a special family friend, Pinar adopted her baby boy…I’m so glad he gives her such joy. Mom had a birthday – not quite as huge a to-do as last year, but a fun evening. Jim on the way to see Ken and the two together at the end of a really great day.
