Kim’s question in Beyond Layers is do we tend to “take” the shot in the moment or “make” the moment to take the shot. Every now and then I comb through my photo folders and am struck by the sad realization that I take tons of photos of food for my Snap-Peas blog, even more photos of puppies for Old Mill Doodles, and very few of my family. Possibly it’s because I hate having my own photo taken, but how sad (to me) that I rarely snap photos of the moments I cherish the most.
which photo would you treasure most? The food, it was delish…..
the puppy (he is adorable)…….
or the children….
the lighting and the textures are great fun – but I’d trade them all for pics of my kids that take me back to a shared moment….
